Job Description

The role will be responsible for leading and owning all cybersecurity engineering projects and activities and providing security solutions to protect DNB\'s assets and applications, as well as ensuring that correct tools and processes are in place to reduce risk exposure. Responsibilities Build, implement and own complete cybersecurity solutions by integrating off-the-shelf and custom security tools that provide visibility into security issues (e.g. vulnerability scanners, network forensics, system hardening, endpoint security, intrusion detection/ prevention, network analysis, security event management, etc.) Manage security networks and applications ensuring documentation, version, patches, and signatures are up to date Perform review, analysis and fine tuning of security networks and applications Analyse events, alerts and incidents to identify patterns of suspicious activities and threats to implement countermeasures to prevent and/ or minimise threats Prepare and issue security compliance review reports with conclusions, recommendations, and follow-ups Conduct reviews on new and existing infrastructure to identify gaps and recommendations in current solutions and processes to remediate risks Work closely with security incident responders, cyber threat intelligence analysts, cybersecurity architects and security operations teams to improve the overall security posture Participate in threat hunting, incident response and disaster recovery activities, with the emphasis on continuous improvement Identify emerging trends in the industry and establish strategic guidance related to best practice approaches to address trends related to DNB The job description may evolve and change as per business and operational exigencies. Knowledge & Experience Bachelor\'s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent Professional certification (e.g. SABSA, TOGAF, CREST, CISSP, CISM or equivalent) Minimum 8 years\' experience in a cybersecurity role in the Telecommunications industry Deep knowledge and understanding of security engineering, including security operations, incident response and/ or threat intelligence analysis Able to demonstrate proficient experience and thorough understanding of adversarial tactics, techniques and response mitigation procedures Sound understanding of industry leading and best practice approaches related to applying risk-based approach to security Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
