WD Global Operations is responsible for the timely deployment and ramp-up of cutting-edge Flash Memory technologies. Supply Chain Planning organization, a critical part of Global Operations, is responsible for ensuring availability of sufficient material supply and manufacturing capacity to help position the right inventory to best satisfy WD\'s Customer needs, Financial goals and commitments.

The Supply Chain organization is looking for a Senior Manager, Industrial Engineering to lead a high-performing team of Operations Research Engineers and/or Data Analysts.

This is a high-visibility and cross-functional role with exposure to the inner workings of WD\'s world-class supply chain. As part of leading this team, the candidate will be responsible to - * Plan, schedule, coordinate and/or monitor the final approval of products through a complete supply cycle.

• Develop and implement the company\'s production control functions including any of the following activities, master scheduling, production planning/coordination, shop scheduling and dispatching. In addition, material requirements, planning systems, work-in-process tracking, material and labor variance controls, and manufacturing performance reporting.
• Approve the quantities, schedules and part lists provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, as well as receipt/issuance of production material requirements.
• Responsible for planning, reviewing, and developing production procedures and personnel. May coordinate activities with materials function using enterprise resource planning systems.
• Maintain the reports to reflect scheduling, methods, support performance and process procedures
• Lead, mentor and grow the team with high-performing individuals working on various parts of supply chain planning including memory planning, component planning and inventory strategy
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams within Global Operations and with Business teams to support monthly Sales & Operations Planning reviews.
• Communication of supply response, commits and operational metrics with Operations and Business Leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in IT/ Supply Chain Management/ Management / Science / Data Science or related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Data analysis and/or Supply Chain Planning in Semiconductor or related technology industry.
• Able to work independently with internal customers at all levels & with various cultural background & Ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge in Semiconductor industry supply chain processes and activities
• Working knowledge of applications such as MS Excel, Power BI & Tableau
• Very strong data analytics, presentation, and communication skills
• Highly experienced in extracting, manipulating and reporting data from multiple sources
• Ability to learn new technologies and tools & Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task while experienced in working with a multinational team
