Our client delivers a spectrum of services including inbound logistics, warehouse fulfillment, and last-mile delivery.The Manager of Industrial Engineering will oversee the entire supply chain process, ensuring its optimization for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This role includes leading a team to design and implement automated systems that enhance warehouse operations efficiency and capacity, as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives.The Challenges

• Process Optimization: Analyze and improve processes and systems within the supply chain, fostering collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement.
• Automation Integration: Design, implement, and/or enhance operational processes by integrating automation technologies into operations.
• Recommendations: Articulate practical recommendations for business requirements, addressing pain points and issues at a high level.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage and partner with key stakeholders and operators on automation projects, ensuring successful implementations by understanding both stakeholders\' requirements and vendor capabilities.
• Project and Vendor Review: Review automation project progress and vendor performance, ensuring effective implementation of the automation strategy.
• Innovation: Drive innovation from ideation to realization for process improvements, including defining and deploying automation/technology roadmaps, budgeting projects, and developing implementation plans.
• Industry Insights: Provide insights into automation trends, challenges, and market opportunities, identifying how the company\'s products/services can bring value to existing or potential external customers.
• Team Leadership: Coach and lead direct reports, supporting and developing automation solutions/projects, and providing feedback to enhance skills, knowledge, and work performance.

What It Takes

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience related to warehousing solutions and/or automation design and implementation, industrial engineering, and/or supply chain operations management in e-commerce or consulting environments.
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end supply chain.
• Experience in product management, with the ability to integrate technical solutions into operational environments for sustainable solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight timelines.
• Hands-on experience in modeling/simulation tools is desirable.
• Experience with time studies, work/method studies, or other performance analysis methodologies.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to convert analysis into business insights for decision-making.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at different hierarchy levels, with the ability to drive objectives.
