The incumbent has to engage key stakeholders to leverage insights towards actionable outcomes/next steps. He / she has to work with diverse teams (DP, SP, Finance, Marketing, Affiliate/Region/Global etc) on specific projects to synthesize market, consumer insights about our brands, our competitors & markets (internal & external Supply Chain, Financial, Marketing data etc) to increase depth of understanding and provide actionable insights for our affiliate/brand/IBP business partners
Enable business planning decisions through data & analytics (regular and/or ad-hoc analysis based on business needs to support the 'Running of the Business' eg Consumer, demand, sales, service/cash/cost, margins/profitability, financial, marketing, segmentation, IT etc)
Develop forecasting model (sales drivers, shipment, consumption etc) to improve forecast accuracy
Work with Regional and Affiliate Op DPs to create and model demand scenarios for Regional/ Affiliate IBP meetings
Design, develop and deploy Analytical Dashboards to enable fast and efficient "Data e Insights e Action" cycle
Develop and build talent through direct management of the Forecast/Data Analyst(s)
Work with IBP team (DP, SP, Finance, Marketing etc) to understand capabilities gap and recommend how to close the capability gaps
Initiate projects: Develop, design and deploy Analytical capabilities (reports, framework, tools etc)
Support the running of the business: Gather and Analyse diverse sets of data with an actionable business action based on 'business questions'
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related field
8-10 years of related experience in Data Analytics, Business Analysis, Business Planning, Supply Chain Planning
Knowledge of, and experience with marketing, Integrated Business Planning (IBP/S&OP), forecasting / demand planning, innovation planning, financial planning
Knowledge of beauty industry and regional / affiliate market trends
Strong analytical and modeling skills with hands-on experience with statistical forecasting and planning tools (e.g., SAP, o9, etc.)
Expert in Data extract, mining, staging, system architecture etc to support the Analytical Tools (eg PowerBI/Tableau)
Strong organizational skills, with ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple accountabilities simultaneously
Ability to work within and across multiple functional teams, collaborating with Planning, Brand, Finance, Supply Chain and Commercial stakeholders from affiliate / region / global
Ability to strategically identify and validate regional industry trends and sales drivers
Strong written and oral communication skills. "Convincing and believable"
Strong attention to detail - ability to accurately manage, update, maintain large datasets
