RGA APAC HR is seeking a dynamic and multidisciplinary HR expert who is passionate about service delivery, employee experience and business process reengineering. In this role you will establish, manage, and coordinate the HR Operations Shared Service Centre activities in the Asia region, with an emphasis on efficiency, accuracy, quality, and compliance. You will also lead our efforts to execute our continuous improvement strategy in the region, including the deployment of automation capabilities across the HR function. Scope:
  • Overall responsibility for shared services delivery of HR processes and automation operations across the APAC region by partnering with country HR Business Partners, COEs and regional operations team members

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate HR operations activities across the region, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency
    • Provide direction and oversight to HR Data Specialists, cultivating an environment of development and sharing of best practices. Monitor duties of team members to balance workload
    • Ensure all supporting tools, policies and documentation are up to date, maintained and continually improved
    • Oversee adherence to standard operating procedures and service-level agreements to ensure accuracy, completeness and integrity of employee data and processes
    • Promote and champion a great employee experience throughout the employee life cycle
    • Establish effective and collaborative partnership with the country HRBPs to deliver borderless services
  • Drive culture of continuous improvement, ensuring HR processes are optimized and aligned across the region and global team (as appropriate)
    • Lead process improvement and automation efforts across the APAC teams by working in partnership with process owners to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our processes and positively impact the employee experience
    • Scope, develop, implement, and maintain development automation capabilities and continuous improvement solutions that meet the highest quality standards and leverage leading practices
    • Evangelize the continuous improvement vision and train / enable a \xe2\x80\x9ccitizen\xe2\x80\x9d mindset within our HR community to identify and implement solutions as part of everyday activities
    • Collaborate across the HR organization to understand and anticipate automation and continuous improvement needs; translate them into technical product and process requirements or models to enable them as organizational or functional capabilities

Requirements
Required:
  • Degree in HR Management, Business Administration or Computer Science
  • 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 progressive Human Resources experience in a multi-national, multi-cultural environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of HR processes and HR compliance requirements throughout the employee life cycle
  • Extensive working experience with HCM, Workday a plus
  • Proven experience implementing standards for operational excellence. Strong attention to detail, commitment to accuracy and desirefor continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written in English as well as second language (Asian preferred)
  • Highly effective people management skills, with ability to inspireand coach a direct team, as well as influence and navigate through a matrix organization. Comfort with managing in a remote environment and leading people across geographies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to quickly adapt to new methods
  • Experience in translating business needs and problems into viable solutions. Experience documenting business processes, defining requirements, implementing process improvements, and determining what processes are appropriate candidates for automation.
  • Ability to drive projects to completion while considering change management best practices
  • Ability to automate business processes workflow, and other process automation technologies. Experience with RPA a plus
  • Software Development experience
  • Project management experience, preferably including experience in SCRUM or Agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated use of Six Sigma techniques
Preferred:
  • Experience with Workday as a strong user or developer
  • Experience within the financial services/insurance industries or global consulting firm
  • M.B.A. or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred
  • Formal tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management is a plus
  • UI Path Certified Business Analyst
