The Manager of HR Shared Services (HRSS) leads the regional HRSS in support of delivering a positive employee experience, ensuring process and service excellence, strong governance, and driving continuous improvement. Supports employee new hire onboarding, employee lifecycle events, terminations, mergers and acquisitions. This role leads a team of HR professionals and works cross functionally with HR business partners, compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, HRIS, talent management, and payroll
Responsibilities:

  • Execute the HR Shared Services (HRSS) strategy, delivering against operational objectives and implementing best practices for shared services.
  • Lead a team of HRSS professionals, providing support and talent management including hiring, establishing performance goals, coaching and performance management, training and development.
  • Serve as point of escalation for the regional HRSS and handles the most complex and sensitive service-related issues.
  • Collaborate with SME\xe2\x80\x99s (compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, HRIS, organizational development, payroll and facilities) regarding HR programs and services.
  • Establish performance and customer satisfaction metrics (KPIs). Create dashboards for reporting and analytics.
  • Responsible for proactively identifying issues, evaluating trends, and develops plans to address performance issues through process changes, tools, and training. Keeps abreast of new developments in other regions and the shared service field, and proactively implement best practices.
  • Increase effectiveness of department functioning by creating new tools, processes and procedures. Make enhancements to HRSS business practices including continuing the development of a case management and knowledge database system.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base materials including process workflows, standard operation procedures, and job aids to facilitate consistency in service delivery quality and facilitate knowledge transfer.
  • Ensure HR compliance activities, employment laws and regulations are properly applied within the scope of the HRSC activities: Zebra\xe2\x80\x99s policies, procedures, code of conduct, operational guidelines and practices.
  • Conduct internal reviews including SOX compliance and self-audits to proactively identify any controls that need strengthening. Manages Internal/External audit inquiries impacting the HRSS and leads implementation of mitigation/improvement plans.
  • Lead and support HR projects and performs other duties as assigned. Leverage effective project management practices including defining objectives and scope, establishing project plans and timelines, and driving execution to deliver results.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a HR, customer service or call center environment required
  • Demonstrated knowledge in various human resources functions (i.e. staffing, benefits, compensation)
  • At least one-year experience in a supervisory/management role required
  • Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to employment practices
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
  • Acts as advisor to other Zebra functions and may become actively involved to meet schedules and resolve problems
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Change agent and results focused
  • Must be able to present concepts and recommendation to all levels of management
  • Demonstrated ability to establish workload priorities and balance diverse tasks as well as effectively handles pressure and demands from multiple customers and competing priorities
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications
  • Ability to develop proficiency in HR Systems such as Oracle HR and Case Management applications
  • Ability to handle HR information in a confidential and professional manner
