Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Internal Audit to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing internal audit functions to ensure the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management, and compliance procedures. The Manager of Internal Audit will play a crucial role in identifying areas of improvement and driving the company\'s continued success. Key Responsibilities: Audit Planning and Strategy: Develop and execute a risk-based internal audit plan for the organization. Determine audit scope, objectives, and methodologies. Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of internal auditors. Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members. Risk Assessment and Analysis: Identify and assess key business risks and control weaknesses. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks. Audit Execution: Conduct internal audits of various departments and processes within the organization. Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, financial reporting, and compliance with policies and regulations. Reporting and Recommendations: Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans. Present audit results to senior management and make actionable recommendations for improvement. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and ensure the organization\'s compliance. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams as needed. Continuous Improvement: Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on action plans. Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master\'s degree or professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred). A minimum of 5 years of experience in internal audit, with a focus on the property and construction industry. Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk management, and internal control frameworks. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office. Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
