RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for all marketing and business development, communication and branding functions, including activities and services related to career and course counselling.
• Responsible for budgeting, planning and implementing effective marketing plans to achieve business objectives.
• Responsible for the development and management of Sunway College Ipoh\'s (SCI) public relation, branding and communication portfolios by working closely with the Marketing Department of Sunway Education Group.
• Responsible for website development and continuous enhancement i.e. designs and content updates, and social media engagement
• Build and sustain liaison with corporate sponsors and government agencies for marketing and branding initiatives.
• Conduct market and student surveys and perform market and trends analysis.
• Oversee the overall operations of SCI\'s marketing department to ensure adequate coverage of all marketing activities.
• Develop channels for recruitment of international students and carry out special projects to develop relevant business and institutional linkages.
• Develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies.
• Develop strong industry partnerships for academic and job placements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Bachelor\'s Degree in Marketing/ Communication, or other relevant disciplines.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in a third language will be an added advantage.
• Excellent in using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong strategic, analytical and presentation skills.
• Excellent management and organizational abilities.
• Own a car and a valid driving license; prepared to travel for business purposes as and when required.
• Meticulous and outcome driven.
• Forward thinking with insights on the market demand and trend.
• Proactive in market research and keep abreast of the market to identify new opportunities.
