Vacancy Description Responsible to plan, implement and maintain the image of properties under SGI through media relations, event coordination, publicity and promotions, in accordance with agreed business plans and proposals. Tasks & Responsibilities 1. To constantly develop and maintain media relations with local and regional publications to ensure a smooth flow of publicity, advertising and promotions. 2. To plan, implement and monitor the progress of publicity achieved for all properties. This includes advertisements placed on a group or property basis. 3. To initiate, monitor and maintain joint promotions with companies / organizations that are feasible to provide our properties with publicity. 4. To monitor press releases and guest letters for the properties to ensure constant awareness of our properties as well as the facilities located within each property. 5. To prepare, co-ordinate and monitor marketing and publicity collaterals for all properties, in terms of brochures, newsletters and flyers - once collaterals are prepared, to ensure proper placement of these materials at each property and to have them sent out to corporate clients and the media. 6. To periodically ensure the updating of the Marketing Communications database for all properties. 7. To co-ordinate events on a corporate and property basis to maintain awareness and strengthen media relations. 8. To monitor and participate in sponsorships to garner and maintain awareness of properties. This includes, issuance of gift vouchers and maintaining community relations through charity and community projects. 9. To ensure that the photo library of all properties are in par with current developments of each respective property. Accountabilities 1. Experience - At least 4 - 6 years of working experience in the sales, marketing, digital or related professional area/or related industry. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
