Manager (methane Management)

Job Description
: * Lead the analysis of the methane management performance within Upstream, which will be leading to these 2 key deliverables; Top quartile methane quantification and reporting (e.g., Gold Standard of OGMP2.0) and PETRONAS year 2025 and 2030 Absolute Methane Emission reduction targets.
- Lead the analysis of impacts and readiness for any potential methane related initiative/partnership signing up by Enterprise level and identifying opportunities to abate methane emissions, where economically feasible.
- Leveraging on resources from various outfits within PETRONAS and providing solutions to build traction for further scaling up by the business and deliver the set targets.
- Supporting custodian in revising any related internal procedure/technical standard/ guideline in delivering the task and play the subject matter experts to review PETRONAS Carbon Commitment (PCC) to fully comply with the existing governances and processes.
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering field or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working in energy/upstream/downstream related sector
- Experience in sustainability/Greehouse Gas (GHG) /methane management would be an added advantage.
