Job Description

:

• Formulate and regulate value assurance for national data by ensuring Exploration & Production (E&P) specialized technical data's availability and accessibility to stakeholders, adopt best practices for efficient national data management and steering value creation through collaboration to continuously proliferate value creation and improve operational excellence for Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM) and national with regards to data.
• Lead and manage stakeholders, including authorities and regulatory bodies, by planning and managing touchpoints, communication channels and establishing rapport with regulatory bodies to maintain effective working relationship.
• Drive, develop and enforce regulatory compliance in national data by providing advisory and direction on national data governance guidelines, direct the evaluation and review of compliance and identification of risk and mitigation plan and prevention for the various regulatory requirements to achieve governance excellence for national data.
• Drive development of regulations by leading, acquiring and providing data management expert advisory for regulators, highlighting the E&P data compliance pain-points and improvement opportunity to develop a holistic regulatory guideline for national data.
• Lead and drive national data management and NDR benchmarking by scanning opportunities for collaborations, identifying international standards and best practices for NDR reference, and guiding towards position PETRONAS/Malaysia as pioneer and leader in the management of oil and gas national data.
• Plan and lead national data requirements and standards for regulators by coordinating with Upstream data management experts, MPM and host authorities in determining national data needs to fulfil national agenda of becoming a desired oil and gas investment destination.
• Lead and manage regulatory compliance performance for national data by developing the tracking and monitoring of national data policies against the regulatory policies, data compliance to regulatory guidelines, prioritizing data management activities for regulatory compliance and ensure national data key performance indicator is achievable to drive excellent compliance to regulatory policies.
• Lead and manage the quality of national data by developing the quality management system for national data, acquiring and sharing national data to/from relevant parties, and spearhead continuous improvement for national data to ensure effective utilization of national data.

Qualification:

• Degree in Engineering / Business Management/ Economic.

Requirement:

• 10-15 years' experience in oil and gas exploration, development and production activities.
