POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Leading and managing the Operations Management in developing, implementing and to continously improve within the Operations Division in its performance, project & services, assets & finance and contracts which to support the Company\'s corporate values, business strategies and objectives

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

OPERATIONS & PERFORMANCE

  • Propose, analysing and strategies operations division performance management system to support the business needs of the Company.
  • To set resources, managing operations divisions requirement in identifying opportunities for further improvement on yearly OPEX and CAPEX budgetary.
  • To plan, propose and faciliate improvement working processes within operations division in minimizing the gaps, discrepencies, inefficient of work flow and resources.
  • Prepare operations operational performance reports and analyse overall activity of the Operations Divisions functions, strategic and business deliverables.
  • To ensure projects, task and services assignment has been delivered according to the respective department/owner based on their business function, operations requirement and resources capabilities.
  • To analyze recommendation, provide feedbacks and review the performance of operatios divisions from the views of project and services, asset and financial as well as contracts commitment and values to the company.
  • To analyse and propose improvement working processes within operations division in minimizing the gaps, discrepencies, inefficient of work flow and resources.
  • To constantly engage with other team members, including interacting with managers of different areas of the organization, presenting findings to stakeholders and higher management.
  • Contribute to the decisions of the projects and initiatives proposal within the Operations Division in order to ensure optimisation of outcome deliverable align with the company objectives.
  • To facilitate business and operational realization for operations division in terms of financial, procurement and deliverables.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATOR
  • Working across functions with peers in other groups to ensure collaborations for shared goals
  • Drive the initiative in making sure KPIs are cascaded downwards and translated into work goals and support the Company\'s goals
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT
  • Develop and maintain good communication and understanding within staff and colleaque
  • Assist in setting clear staff performance standards, motivating and monitoring staff performance, giving specific constructive feedback regularly for developmental purposes and aligning the team to organizational goals
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
  • Formulates policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient running of the Operations Management to support the Operations Division
  • Manage the effectiveness and efficiency of implementation of policies and procedures pertaining to the business operation nature
RESOURCE PERSON
  • Provide advice, guidance and information to the Operations Division staff on matters pertaining to Operations to ensure that the objective is achieved
STAFF DEVELOPMENT
  • Facilitate suboordinates to create and produce conducive working environment to enhance staff productivity in achieving unit objectives
Key Challenges
  • Facilitate, monitor and analyze the Operations Division related projects and contracts development and performance activities
  • Optimization of budgets and reliability of projects
  • Performance review of Operations Division
Skills
  • Must have good understanding in Operations Management
  • Must have good understanding and experience in Operations Division
  • Must have good communications and presentation skills Able to represent the division in Management, Board and external meetings
  • A self-starter with strong interpersonal skills who can communicate effectively
  • A team player who can build positive relation at all level Result Oriented
  • Possess leadership qualities with strong analytical mind
  • Knowledge in Airport Operations will be an added advantage
Relevant Industries

Internal
  • Degree with minimum 3 years relevant experience in Senior Executive role
  • Diploma with minimum 5 years relevant experience in Senior Executive role
  • Certificate with minimum 7 years relevant experience in Senior Executive role
External
  • Degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience.
Education

Internal
  • Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate preferably in Operation Management, Business or Engineering
  • Master degree would be an added advantage
External
  • Degree Certificate preferably in Operation Management, Business or Engineering
  • Master Degree would be an added advantage
