Job Description


:

* Support the development of Strategic Initiatives and Malaysia Area Development Plan (ADP) for asset-specific incorporating current and future development scenarios, through analysis and input gathering on petroleum engineering outlook during screening, clustering, concept identification and selection workshops, fields sequencing and economic evaluation to come out with short and long term business portfolios.

  • Develop asset-specific Field Development Plan (FDP) for Malaysia\' discovered oil and gas resources and replenishment initiatives through consolidation and benchmarking of PSC\'s proposed development activities, monitoring of opportunities from Asset Value Framing (AVF), managing timely delivery of Field Development Plan (FDP), enforcement of governance/regulation, timely approval of budget to ensure maximization of value creation and optimal development of Malaysia petroleum resources.
  • Monitor Malaysia\'s field Reservoir Management and Surveillance Plan and objective driven surveillance activities by verifying field performance during Asset Management Subsurface Review, Asset Management Integrated Review (AMIR) or other technical discussion in line with anticipated values stipulated in Field Development Plan (FDP) and monitoring intervention plan to mitigate deviations in consultation with the Technical Professionals to maximize field\'s ultimate hydrocarbon recovery.
  • Facilitate the implementation of total well management through zero idle well inventory, zero integrity issue, high active well uptime, improved success rate for Idle Well Reactivation (IWR) activities and compliance to idle well time bound limits to mitigate and minimize PETRONAS liabilities on well abandonments.
  • Drive and propose hydrocarbon resource and asset valuation for the development and production of straddling fields within Malaysia and across international borders through integrated technical potential assessment of affected fields/area to optimize development and maximize value creation for PETRONAS and Malaysia.
Qualification * Bachelor\'s Degree in Petroleum Engineering/Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline.

Requirement * Minimum 10 years of working experience in Upstream business of oil and gas industry.
  • Experience in planning and operational would be an added advantage
