Your Job

As a Project Manager in Molex\'s Copper Solutions Business Unit you will be leading a highly motivated, global cross functional team throughout the Project Life Cycle for New Product Development Process from Project Initiation to the Start of Production. You are customer focused, possess strong project management experience, proactive, organized, highly motivated with growth mindset and willing to undertake challenges.

You excel in a demanding, fast paced, and highly dynamic development environment to deliver commitments and value to our customers.

What You Will Do In Your Role

• Lead and facilitate cross functional teams in the planning and execution of projects related to New Product Development and Release, Modifications, selected Capacity Additions
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively influence team members, management, and external contacts to drive positive project outcomes.
• Proactive, and able to demonstrate initiative and a sense of urgency.
• Individual and team organizational skills to anticipate, plan, prioritize, and monitor workload.
• Lead and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for project kick off, project meetings, definition of project scope, objectives, expectations, and deliverables, including establish project timelines and budget.
• Initiate, build, and manage overall project schedule, define critical path, monitor project activities, and hold functional team members accountable to meet agreed upon deadlines, generate and communicate status report and escalate critical issues.
• Monitor and control project progress, risk assessment and mitigation planning, manage changes to project scope, schedule, and cost.
• Own Project Reporting communication to both Management and Customers.
• Lead and mentor team members in project management principles, PDP processes, issue resolution, decision making, etc.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Natural Leader with sense of ownership and accountability
• Experience leading global teams in a matrix organisation
• Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, finance, manufacturing, supply management, or related field
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, & decision-making skills
• Ability to work mornings and evenings to participate in North America to Asia Pacific meetings
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time
• Self-driven with ability to thrive in a remote working environment
• Fluency in English & require Mandarin speaking to work with Chinese business counterparts
• Contribution Minded
• Can-Do Attitude

What Will Put You Ahead

• PMP Certified
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Engineering or Manufacturing degree or experience
• Proven track record working remotely
