We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Recruitment & Onboarding.

In this role, you will:

Impact on Business:

  • Seek new ideas and approaches with a view to identify, attract, develop and maintain sufficient talent pool to support new migration and growth requirements.
  • Develop and enforce efficient workflow, policies and procedures in collaboration with other HR specialists, with a concern over confidentiality, data security, operational loss, quality improvement and risk management (including business recovery, continuity and compliance).
  • Understand market trends, partner with C&B specialist in developing the right pay strategy, recommend pay rates and benefits that are competitive with the market and implement performance based reward system to promote performance culture within the centre.
Customers Management:
  • Propose, develop and implement Talent Acquisition and Management policies and processes in HDPM.
  • Plan and manage recruitment activities to meet recruitment target for the customers.
  • Prepare periodic recruitment statistics for management reporting
  • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities not covered above but which is deemed to be part of Human Resource Administration.
  • Foster effective relationship with HR business partners, HR community, third party service provider, related external bodies and local authorities
Leadership & Team Work:
  • Plan, manage and coordinate Resourcing initiatives.
  • Recruit the right talent for Resourcing team \xe2\x80\x93 manage, coach and develop the team.
  • Appraise and manage individual performance of team members to ensure that business requirements are achieved on a consistent and timely basis.
  • Provide HR management skills in driving innovation, fostering teamwork and encouraging proactive delivery product and of services within Resourcing team.
  • Promote a culture of service and operational excellence within HR.
Operational Effectiveness & Control:
  • To be aware of the Operational Risk scenario and to ensure the likelihood of operational risk occurring are taken into account while in employment in HSBC.
  • Manage information including database of applications, hires, tracking costs and records related to recruitment activities and preparing reports and analyses for the management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Degree in any relevant field.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in core recruitment, with some exposure in Multi-National Company.
  • Combined experience of at least 8 years with a minimum of 3 years in handling senior hiring.
  • Ability to deal with circumstances that may be ambiguous/ unfamiliar.
  • Previous experience of working in a large start up operation is an advantage.
  • Very effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in working with different groups of people.
  • Strong networking skills and relationship building.
Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
