Job Purpose The Manager - Sustainability, CSR and Communications is responsible for working closely with the Director of Sustainability GMG Global to help further develop our sustainability strategy and CSR initiatives in APAC. The Manager - Sustainability, CSR and Communications will also help engage the brand in new philanthropic campaigns and social causes, as well as coordinating and executing existing campaigns, programs and communications that align with the GMG\'s business objectives. Core Responsibilities: Look for the best partners to develop our campaigns and long-term CSR strategy. Coordinate the implementation of sustainability roadmap in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong Work closely with the Communications team (Internal/External) to understand content requirements, both print and digital, including social media channels Work closely with agency(s) to arrange and coordinate interviews, build and maintain relationships with journalists and influencers Be up to date with industry trends and identify key events/conferences where GMG can part take Perform benchmark of existing ESG standards and guidance against GMG standards and policies Engage with internal/external stakeholders to improve ESG performance (R&I, industry players, institutions, NGO\'s, ) Support colleagues in the implementation GMG sustainability strategy, with a continuous improvement approach Coordinate philanthropic campaigns and serve as a liaison between the company and our charitable partners Coordinate the CSR Community program which highlights the partnerships with the local community level Coordinate volunteering program across all Asian offices Partner with engagement teams for CSR activations Partner with marketing and communication departments across all business units to coordinate CSR activities, sponsorships, campaigns etc. Work with different business units within GMG to understand more about their social efforts Consolidate and report on social responsibility activities across the brands Assist in gathering data for CSR presentations for the Leadership Committee, Board of Directors. Assist Business Units with their individual team initiatives, activities, and meetings Assist in publication of newsletters and brand communications Other duties as assigned, including department projects Job Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in marketing and/or communications, politics or a related field. Degree and/or certifications on sustainability management Experience in engaging with external stakeholders Problem solving approach Proactive attitude Team player, with good interpersonal skills Logical and analytical thinking skills Sensitivity and understanding Interest in social causes and/or philanthropy 2-3 years\' experience in sustainability departments in the region Nice to have : experience working with nonprofits and/or program coordination or fundraising organisations Ability to multi-task, work with all professionals at different levels of the organization Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and Powerpoint Ability to travel up to 20% This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
