• Develop and manage the hydropower strategic sustainability matrix.
• Develop, plan and manage hydropower sustainability initiatives, including partnerships with relevant stakeholders.
• Build business case to support sustainability course of action in accordance with international best practices.
• Develop and manage the embedding process of best sustainability practices (protocol, best practices & international standard) into SEB\'s business system.
• Develop, manage and conduct analysis on emerging sustainability risks & opportunities, trends, and issues in hydropower development & operation.
• Develop programme in sustaining HSS internal assessment team.
• Coordinate & maintain Audit System which includes providing feedback and inputs in the sustainability assessment process, manage the HSS Assessment with the SEB\'s internal assessment team and perform gap analysis and development of action plan in closing the gaps.
• Understand fundamental sustainability requirements in local and international financing and investment standards and provide feedback and inputs on queries.
• Develop and communicate benchmarking process in terms of environmental, economic and social performances.
• Maintain effective communication to the stakeholders (internal and external) on sustainability best practices through appropriate platform (internal news/ article publishing or through corporate sustainability website).

THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES:

• The main aspect of the job is to understand and analyses the key challenges in assessment and embedding best practices in hydropower development as well as developing a strategy which acceptable to the process owner.
• Identifying creative and innovative solutions in order to embed sustainability basic best practices into SEB\'s hydropower project development and getting buy-in from the process owner.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor Degree in Sciences, Engineering, or Environmental Sciences from universities and institutions of higher learning recognized by the Company and at least 10 - 12 years relevant working experience in the power utility or similar industry.

Preference will be given to internal candidate.
