Key Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures for our buildings and malls.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate security activities with outsourced security companies to safeguard our properties, tenants, employees, and guests.

\xc2\xb7 Monitor and evaluate the performance of outsourced security companies and ensure compliance with internal policies and government requirements.

\xc2\xb7 Analyse data and propose security and safety improvements, including the implementation of new technologies.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare reports on security status for management and review security-related documents.

\xc2\xb7 Investigate and resolve security issues such as theft and trespassing.

\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with outsourced security companies during emergencies and plan security operations for specific events.

\xc2\xb7 Prepare budgets for security operations and monitor expenses.

\xc2\xb7 Assist outsourced security companies in emergency management and contingency planning.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct regular site visits to monitor performance and address safety issues.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure public safety precautions and corporate safety strategies are implemented.

\xc2\xb7 Collaborate with the Integrity unit for any necessary investigations.

\xc2\xb7 Perform any other tasks as instructed.

Qualifications and Experience:

\xc2\xb7 A degree in a relevant discipline such as criminology, law, security, or safety management, or relevant experience in security management.

\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of security best practices and legislation.

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and verbal.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work effectively in a team.

\xc2\xb7 Excellent understanding of security protocols and procedures.

\xc2\xb7 Strategic thinking and the ability to manage and prevent hazards.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in armed forces or police force is an advantage.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a security manager or similar position.

\xc2\xb7 Open to Local Malaysian Candidates only
