WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To lead the team to deliver the agreed Services Level Agreement (SLA) on the turnaround time and accuracy for SG UNI.

Operations - 60% of time spent Provide strategic planning and leadership to team leaders to ensure department continuously deliver the agreed SLA in term of turnaround time and quality. Review and improves work processes from time to time to improve department's efficiency and effectiveness. Review department's resources to ensure department has sufficient resources to deliver the agreed SLA. Regularly monitor the staff productivity and take actions to strive for continuous improvement. Closely monitor staff over time claims and the expenses incurred is within budget. Conduct regular team briefing to the staff to improve staff engagement. Review and countersign cases referred by the team according to the Company guidelines and mandatory regulation.

Staff Development - 20% of time spent Ensure appropriate training modules are in place for new joiners without underwriting exposure and newly recruited experienced underwriters so that they are equipped with the correct knowledge to carry out their tasks. Ensure training is scheduled for all staff according to their needs, both soft skill training and technical training. Establish a plan to monitor progress of underwriter's authority skills upgrade. Carry out appropriate planning to ensure relevant staff attends the training without affecting delivery of the agreed SLA.

Customer Services - 10% of time spent Ensure staff response promptly to enquire from all sources. Cultivate the mindset of putting customers in mind during processing to eliminate potential inconveniences to the customers (both the intermediaries and the policy holders). Ensure all complaints are being monitored and action plans are implemented to avoid recurrences.

Other ad hoc task -10% of time spent Perform other responsibilities and duties assigned by superior in order to meet operational requirements.
