Purpose of the Role: This is a new role within Nutrition Technologies, you will be a key member of the operations team reporting directly to the COO. The key purpose of this role is to champion continuous improvement within the operational elements of the company. You will be asked to plan, execute and monitor a series of cross departmental projects focused on expanding and improving our manufacturing operations. The scope will be varied, and the role requires flexibility, critical thinking and an ability to quickly assimilate information and create and execute a plan to make improvements. Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing new processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Analyzing data to identify operational trends and opportunities for improvement.
Coordinating with other departments within the organization to ensure successful implementation of initiatives.
Leading projects aimed at improving manufacturing excellence and reducing costs.
Preparing reports on operational performance, including benchmarks against industry standards or best practices.
Motivating employees to improve performance by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Inputting in and assisting on manufacturing expansion projects.
Requirements & Person Specifications:
Bachelor\'s degree, ideally in manufacturing, engineering or food production, with more than 10 years of direct experience in Production / Operations / Manufacturing.
Project management experience in a manufacturing setting.
Excellent written and verbal communicator who can provide updates to a geographically distributed executive team in a clear and effective manner.
Strong computer literacy, including word processing, spreadsheets and presentations.
Knowledge and understanding of key principles in Lean manufacturing / Six-Sigma.
A demonstrable interest in sustainability & sustainable development.
Knowledge and experience of ISO / GMP standards, processes & systems.
Dynamic, hard working and energetic individual, able to self generate work and drive forward cross departmental project teams.
Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions.
Strong attention to detail, while also able to see long-term strategic improvements and developments.
Exhibit a good attitude and demonstrate interpersonal skills to work with people from different backgrounds.
Salary: RM7,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
