Job Description


1.0 Job Summary 1.1 Responsible for the coordination and execution of all marketing and communications activities, such as media relations, collateral production, advertising and promotional programmes and all efforts required to effectively represent the hotel\'s products and services to customers and prospects. 1.2 To work with the Assistant Director of Sales / F&B Manager to develop and deliver comprehensive marketing and communications plans in support of the Hotel\xe2\x80\x99s objectives. 1.3 Develops and implements strategy and deliverables for press releases, advertising, seminars, public relations, and electronic and print mailing campaigns 2.0 Duties And Responsibilities 2.1 Assist in strategic planning of budgets and programs including; advertising, public/media relations, database/direct marketing, sales promotions, event marketing, website, social media and collateral development. 2.2 To ensure consistent communication of the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s objectives and business directions in the areas of marketing, communications, public relations and website. 2.3 Organise and implement effectively the PR activities in the hotel\'s calendar of events, including liaising with VIPs, managing media, etc. 2.4 To conceptualise and write press releases, website news, corporate publications and other media related content. 2.5 To monitor media coverage of the company and to benchmark the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s brand positioning against other industry players. 2.6 To research, write/edit and create layout for new articles and features. Act as liaison between blog readers and hotel. 2.7 Assist in soliciting and creating coverage opportunities and assist in branding activities for the hotel. 2.8 Complies with and manages database for promotional mailings. 2.9 Organizes and manages promotional communications and customer relationship programs between the organization, its external sales representatives and customers, and the advertising media. 2.10 Responsible for guest relations within the hotel. 2.11 Develop and coordinate advertising materials or related communication activities such as media conferences. 2.12 Handle and coordinate all media requests and enquiries in a timely manner. Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month Schedule:
