Job Description

As the Market Development Director, IC ROAP, a newly expanded role, you will aim at bringing increased focus to deliver profitable growth in Powder, Trailer, Two Wheelers across IC ROAP. You will report to General Manager, Industrial Coatings, ROAP. You will be at the interface of Sales, Segment, Supply Chain, Technical and Operations teams with the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Accountable for Powder, Trailer, Two Wheelers\xe2\x80\x99 growth, and profitability of 2024 in IC ROAP

Establish a winning business strategy to position our Powder, Trailer, Two Wheelers\xe2\x80\x99 product lines for profitable growth, understanding our asset base, cost drivers and market opportunities.

Build asset strategy for asset expansion and modification together with the Operations team in IC ROAP.

Complete landscape reviews and benchmarking programs in IC ROAP.

Lead product mapping and advocate for new product development (NPD) projects in IC ROAP.

Drive opportunity pipeline management and sales plans leveraging China Powder to generate profitable growth in IC ROAP.

Refresh and consolidate Preferred Product Offering (PPO) for powder in IC ROAP.

Lead powder digital platform initiative for sub segments in IC ROAP.

Develop bonding manufacturing capability improvement plan to gain share from Tiger & Akzo in IC ROAP.

Collaborate with ONE PPG partners (Refinish, Architectural, Auto OEM) in IC ROAP.

Bring forth M&A opportunities for powder coatings to enhance capabilities and expertise and to meet long-range growth goals, especially in IC ROAP.

Lead and participate global project such as Wheel, Extrusion etc.

Qualifications

Technical degree or equivalent.

5 to 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience demonstrated in product management or business management in the powder coatings industry.

Experience with manufacturing and supply chain.

Client oriented.

Effective communication skills (verbal and written).

Solid business acumen and strategic thinking ability (technical & commercial ones are a plus).

Excellent presentation and influencing skills, capable of driving change internally and externally.

Proficient knowledge and understanding of project management.

Ability to work with a large degree of autonomy, capable of mobilizing actions and people across the organization.

Ability to lead and successfully collaborate with staff of diverse cultures and education.

Fluency in English required another European language would be an asset.
