Job Description


Your role as a market intelligence specialist is to conduct comprehensive market research and analysis in the ophthalmic device industry, monitor competitor performance and activities, and identify potential partner companies.

Market Trend:

  • Collaborate with Regional MA & Upstream Marketing Specialist to develop a target list for monitoring market trends, including industry magazines, websites, and social media platforms.
  • Engage with regional/local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to understand their preferred sources of information and regularly update the monitoring target list on a quarterly basis.
  • Continuously monitor the ophthalmic device market trends through the target list and provide monthly updates on new technologies, products, and companies to distributor websites
Partner Identification:
  • Analyse market trend data to identify potential partner companies that align with company\'s criteria for collaboration.
Competitors:
  • Collaborate with the Regional Head of Application Specialist to create a list of competitors for monitoring their activities, and identify reliable sources of information to track their recent developments.
  • Prepare regular reports for internal management on a monthly basis.

Teamwork:
  • Adhere to predetermined KPIs and provide regular voluntary status reports on a weekly basis.
  • Follow the company\'s job dispatching/assignment system to ensure accuracy and prevent delays.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Proactively propose more efficient and accurate approaches to enhance processes.
  • Strive to improve customer satisfaction levels.
Build Robust and Sustainable Operations:
  • Develop and update detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence to them.
Skill Development:
  • Engage in continuous training and self-study plans, ensuring progress in skill development.

  • Bachelor\'s degree (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in market research.
