We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Market MYSG Safety and Health Manager to drive and ensure that the Market Management team leads in all aspects of Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) by developing and driving strategic initiatives leading to continuous improvement in SHE performance in line with the Nestl\xc3\xa9 Continuous Excellence mindset of zero accidents and incidents.

A day in the life of...

• Direct and co-ordinate the development and implementation of the Market SHE strategy and program. Recommend Market SHE objectives considering corporate objectives. Monitor and communicate on performance to improve decision making regarding SHE and to integrate SHE into business decisions
• Ensure adherence to all company principles, policies and requirements related to SHE, including NCE, TPM, LEAN, NEMS & NSMS. Manage NIMS as a joint responsibility with Quality. Ensure compliance with SHE legal requirements. Verify that all environment-related product communication conforms with Group policy
• Implement, control, maintain and improve appropriate Market level SHE Management systems. Develop & implement specific tools & initiatives to increase awareness of SHE and achieve objectives.
• Provide coaching and support to corporate functions, Factory Managers & Factory SHE Managers in order to achieve the Market SHE objectives. Ensure SHE becomes / remains a line management responsibility with a focus on behavior (BBS) and culture. Ensure appropriate management of performance data
• Ensure development of careers, succession plans and development & coaching of direct reports (where applicable) and contribute to the same for Factory SHE personnel within the Market including development of specific training
• Represent Nestl\xc3\xa9 on external industry and standards- and regulation- setting bodies to ensure Nestl\xc3\xa9\'s needs and views are taken into account

What Will Make You Successful

• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience
• Prior experience in SHE role at a factory with a proven track record in improving SHE performance.
• Prior manufacturing experience
• Prior experience in FMCG industry is an added advantage
• Prior experience in a regional role is an added advantage
• Demonstrated management capability in an operational environment including ability to lead, coach, engage and influence.
• Experience in leading and implementing change
• Mandatory to have the required Malaysian Safety Certifications (i.e Greenbook)
• Have great passion for SHE
