In your role as Master Data Analyst III, you\'ll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world.Master data is a critical business asset with a high impact upon business performance and decision-making. Well-managed, high-quality master data will enable the company to drive business results, whereas poorly controlled, low-quality data will result in higher costs and missed opportunities. You will apply data governance best practice in the delivery of master data management services such that high quality (timely, complete, accurate, and consistent) master data is achieved, maintained, and used to drive business results. You will be responsible for delivering master data management services globally, support the implementation of systems in partnership with ITS, lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive global standardization. The current scope covers most master data types (domains) including product, customer, vendor, material, and cost objects. The scope is unrestricted to expand in the future into any additional master data types where business value is identified. This role supports the GBS APAC to effectively deliver business strategy, identify and drive value creation initiatives, support employee engagement initiatives, identify control and compliance gaps and lead disruptive ideas in the journey to Intelligent Business Services. Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities: Become a regional SME for the domains: Validate the process for creation and maintenance of master data records increasing consistency across regions and act as liaison between domains. Administer master data workflow tools, processes and the execution of mass updates. Be the expert and go-to person for tactical business and technical issues resolution within the master data team and work closely with Domain Specialists in Master Data team. Provide first line of support to the team and the business for high complex issues impacting master data process and quality of data. Lead proper maintenance of SOPs collaborating with all process stakeholders to ensure processes are fully documented and compliant. Coordinate the implementation of controls and regular checks to ensure compliance with internal control, SOX Controls, ARCHER, global standard, business rules and regulation. Assist the development of VMS and identification of requirements to effectively track KPIs. Drive value creation supporting the business: Become CI advocate for the domain. Positively influence the business by leading training to internal customers, CI projects or leveraging data, analytics and actionable insights to deliver quantifiable results. Generate consistency, efficiency, and productivity improvements by leveraging process improvement, standardization and automation to generate white space. Engage stakeholders to drive awareness and identification of business use case scenarios that demonstrate the importance and ROI of sustained quality master data. Lead projects through the proactive identification of process gaps and interpretation of business rules and policies. Work in partnership with ITS and the business teams to implement new master data technologies that enhance process efficiency and drive effective master data quality: Represent the domain for global data governance council to ensure global consistency. Take ownership of issues and project tasks to drive them to completion ensuring that business processes are not disrupted by changes. Lead small to medium projects internal to the master data team for a single domain. Essential Requirements: Leadership Skills: Strong ability to communicate with multiple organizational levels. Technical Business Skills: Clear understanding of Master Data activities and relationship with business. Expert in the principles, policies and practices of master data process and quality management. CI/LEAN experience Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency. Advanced SAP user. Knowledge of Power BI, Macro and SAP scripting will be an advantage Essential Knowledge / Experience: Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration or Engineering or related field. 2-3 years of relevant experience. B2 or C1 English level. Other regional languages required: Mandarin Chinese/ Korean.
