Master Data Analyst JOB SUMMARY The Master Data Analyst is responsible for the deployment of standardized processes and rules in the DS&A CoE organization aligned with Global guidelines. He/She will have responsibility over areas such as data quality, data governance, master data management and is responsible to: Oversee definition, gathering and analysis of KPIs by data domain Review, Update and Align consistency of master data management practices across all domains and local organizations Deliver operational KPIs and comply with Sanofi policies and guidelines Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Is expected to have knowledge of Master Data Management area, which includes knowledge of Data quality, Data migration and Data governance processes, methodologies, and standards. Will deliver quality control and best practices enablement of the activities where MDM solutions are involved MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The scope mainly includes controlling master data management, data integrity checks across systems to be used for planning (T1, T2, Budget) and managerial reporting. This includes the following responsibilities within the global MDM & UAM team: Master data maintenance in different systems (ERP/TM1 ,..) Execution of defined controls based on CoE calendar Giving support to users on Master Data topics Participating in reorganization projects by supporting any foreseen MDM activities Support the local teams in organizing the MJE/reclassifications as a result of MDM changes Performing the checks on user access request to tool like TM1, PLai, Snowflake and giving access to them after review Master data management strategy Improve data quality and implement means to measure and report on data quality Assess Data quality of existing data to identify data quality issues to anticipate the data migration efforts and priorities and migration strategy accordingly Assess the requested Data governance process Design of the Solution(s) Provide his/her expertise of existing business processes / SAP solutions Ensure the overall consistency of the design proposed for MDM solution within his/her area of responsibility Other Activities Effectively communicate the status, value, and importance of data collection to all layers of Sanofi organization Identify enhancements and practices to create synergies and ensure foundation of the analytics capabilities in TM1 REQUIREMENTS EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND Master in Finance or Master in Science or MBA or Master in IT Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance or Supply Chain PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Demonstrate a good track record in controlling and / or accounting and financial reporting preferably in a Pharmaceutical / Consumer Products industry Deep understanding of controls, master data and systems flows Good knowledge of MDM in SAP, TM1 and other systems functional scope Experience in data management, data integrity checks, data migration Hands on experiences in MDM workflows MAJOR SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Good knowledge of controlling and reporting processes (end to end view) as well as the main tools being used in the Group (SAP, TM1, HFM, etc.) Experience of implementing systems in multiple countries would be a plus Overall knowledge of integration with other systems Experience translating business needs into process and implementation requirements Handling of mass data change scenarios Analytical, process-oriented Ability to work out of comfort zone Ability to train and teach/coach others Team spirit, active listening, able to challenge requirements Honed Interpersonal Skills - ability to network and communicate with various functions Strong analytical capabilities with an ability to balance theory and practical reality Ability to deal with an increasing level of ambiguity Accountability and Reliability Sanofi Behaviors and Skills This position is required to demonstrate behaviors such as Stretch, Put the interest of the organization, Act in the interest of our patients and customers and Take Action.
