Job Description

Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7

• Responsible for managing the timely receiving of material / items, check, recording, storage and preservation of materials delivered at site in orderly for traceability\xc2\xb7
• Ensures proper storage at construction site along with maintaining update inventory record
• Responsible for site material waste and work closely with project team to prevents of material wastage
• Coordinate with Purchasing team & QS team on report\xc2\xb7 Coordinate the availability of delivery documentation and feed the storage data base with proper information\xc2\xb7
• Initiate procedures concerning for damage materials deliver and liaise with Purchasing team for claiming\xc2\xb7
• Recording any damage materials due erection \xc2\xb7
• To issue any supply non-conformities and follow up the relevant resolution\xc2\xb7
• To initiate claims for missing materials and / or non-conformity \xc2\xb7
• Supply Project Planner with updated information regarding materials availability at site to support the construction schedule reliability\xc2\xb7
• Inform superior and coordinate about the material status and delivery forecasts in order to verify the feasibility of construction schedules\xc2\xb7
• Managing the delivery of materials to subcontractors in accordance with material list presented by the same and according to the instructions given by the superior\xc2\xb7
• Keeping records about the handling of materials\xc2\xb7
• Recording of surplus materials if any

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Computer literate in industry-related software such as MS Project / Word / Excel
• Willing to work long hours when required
• Willing to work on Sunday, Public Holiday, if needed
