The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.
Project lead for material development projects. Work closely with cross function teams in planning, reviewing and execution of material development projects, including PPCM, to meet project targets. Work closely with project team members, suppliers, production line steering and production counterparts. Lead investigation and analysis of problems and drive implementation of solutions for conversion material projects. Actively seeking key experts' inputs in material and process to ensure manufacturability are fully considered & fulfilled. Support technology enabling projects on conversion materials and benchmarking.

Bachelor's, or Master degree in Engineering (Mechanical/ Mechatronic/ Electromechanical), Engineering (Metallurgy/ Material Science), Physics or equivalent. Minimum 2 years in the field of material development or R&D development. Strong analytical skill, systematic problem solving skill, statistical knowledge and detailed-oriented personality. Experience in project management and programming will be an added advantage. Good interpersonal and influencing skills needed. Technical knowledge in the area of material engineering or physics.
