Job Description
Role: MechanicIndustry: Oil and gas exploration service in MalaysiaWork Location: Tanjung Langsat, Pasir GudangThe Mechanic reports to the TS Assistant Manager & Operations Manager on daily operational activities. The Mechanic also reports to the Operations Manager on maintenance and repair of all company machineries/equipment according to maintenance schedules.Responsibilities:
- Upkeep and maintenance of all equipment under the supervision and instructions of the TS Assistant Manager & Operations Manager
- Execution of all systems, equipment and plantsxe2x80x99 scheduled maintenance and repair works
- Defect diagnosis on hydraulic and electrical systems is required
- Update repair and maintenance records for all systems, equipment and plants
- Promote correct usage of systems, equipment and plants in accordance to company policy, manufacturerxe2x80x99s recommended practices, local and international laws and regulations
- Any ad-hoc task have assigned
- Minimum certificates in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
- 1 to 2 years relevant working experience with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems within marine/offshore industry
- Physically fit to lift/carry spare parts
- Meticulous and independent individual, with sense of initiative and able to work under minimal supervision
