The roles and responsibilities of this role will include: * Mechanical Drafting Tools and Processes: Computer aided design modeling. Create computer models for mechanical design analysis, engineering analysis and other uses.

• Create documentation package and verify accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure that goals and objectives are met through effective involvement, contribution, and coordination.
• Ensure that goals and objectives are met through effective involvement and contribution.
• Ensure quality results in all deliverables.
• Self-development activities may include, but are not limited to, participation in professional organization(s), networking, educational and certification courses.
• Effectively exercise interpersonal skills.

Required Skills/Experience - * Product Support: Ability to translate verbal or written directions from engineers into drawings and able to relate back with to the original idea.

• Ability to understand/interpret product and tooling cost data as they relate to the design of the product.
• Systems, Procedures & Standards: Ability to apply appropriate standards and protocol that govern the Steelcase design process.
• Computer Skills: Ability to create CAD models to document and analyze the mechanical aspects of the design and to utilize other computer applications and software. Creo knowledge is preferable.
• Business Industry Knowledge: Ability to acquire knowledge of the Steelcase organization, processes, products, standards, and information systems.
• Problem Solving/Decision Making: Ability to use a variety of methods and techniques in solving technical issues.
• Interpersonal: Ability to work with peers and management in a multi-disciplined team environment.
• Administrative: Ability to work on multiple assignments and effectively manage time and priorities.
• Ability to communicate technical information with all audiences

Education/Experience:Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 1 - 2 years relevant working experience.
