We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Mechanical Engineer

to join our team. This role suits an engineer with a background in mechanical building services design and a strong interest in advancing towards

project management

Key Responsibilities:

Involved in mechanical design of building services systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related mechanical systems) for

Commercial and High Rise projects.

Design and develop mechanical systems for buildings, ensuring compliance with local and international codes and sustainability practices. Prepare load calculations, equipment sizing, system layouts, technical specifications, and detailed drawings. Use design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, and Carrier tools for system modeling and coordination. Prepare documentation for tendering, cost estimation, and procurement support. Conduct site visits for inspections, testing, commissioning support, and contractor liaison. Participate in project planning, coordination meetings, and support the project manager in managing timelines, deliverables, and budgets. Learn and contribute to data centre-specific MEP design such as precision cooling, redundancy planning, and energy-efficient systems. Gain exposure to mechanical systems used in industrial and factory settings, including process HVAC, compressed air systems, and heavy-duty ventilation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. 2-5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design for MEP building services. Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar tools. Strong technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design. Proactive attitude with a desire to learn project management and coordination. Interest in advanced infrastructure projects like data centres and industrial facilities.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
