Position Title : Mechanical Engineer
Tenure: Permanent
Remuneration: RM3,000 - RM4,500
Responsibilities
1. Product Design and Development:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop mechanical components and systems for automotive applications.
Utilize CAD software to create detailed 3D models, simulations, and engineering drawings.
Conduct feasibility studies and provide input into the selection of materials and manufacturing processes.
2. Testing and Validation:
Plan and execute testing protocols to validate the performance, durability, and safety of mechanical components.
Analyse test data, identify issues, and collaborate with the team to implement design improvements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
3. Project Management:
Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that engineering milestones are achieved on schedule.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate prototype builds, testing, and final product implementation.
Provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
4. Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of new engineering methodologies
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Strong academic background and a passion for automotive engineering.
Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and a willingness to learn.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
