Job Summary

:
We are seeking an Electromechanical Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integrated electromechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical engineering and be able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to solve complex engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities

:

Preventive Maintenance

Plan and execute preventive maintenance for plant equipment. Ensure proper functioning of pneumatic, hydraulic systems, gearbox units, and spare part availability. Read and create mechanical drawings for fabrication and repair tasks. Improve equipment performance using the 4M, 1E method (Man, Machine, Material, Method & Environment).

Breakdown Maintenance

Address mechanical breakdowns during production, including off-hours for major incidents. Prepare detailed reports for major breakdowns with corrective and preventive actions for management.

Spare Part Control

Manage spare parts inventory and procurement processes. Coordinate with suppliers for consultation, labor, and materials support. Plan blanket orders for lubricants and cooling tower chemicals.

Cost Control

Justify and optimize maintenance costs. Identify in-house maintenance opportunities to reduce outsourcing.

Documentation

Maintain and secure all reports and documents related to mechanical maintenance activities.

Training, Safety, and Housekeeping

Enforce safety protocols, PPE usage, and safe working environments. Ensure compliance with DOSH requirements for overhead cranes and compressed air equipment. Maintain workshop cleanliness and organization. Train technicians in troubleshooting mechanical systems. Foster teamwork and communication with colleagues and other departments.

Requirements

:

Candidate must possess at least a

Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical)

or equivalent.

Languages

:

English and Bahasa Malaysia

Willing to travel with own transport when required. Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills. Results-driven, self-motivated, positive working attitude and able to work independently. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
