Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
Documenting manufacturing requirements and processes, including technical drawings and CAD models.
Responsible for design and fabrication of mould and tools.
Develop manufacturing processes and liaise with Purchasing department to ensure feasibility in supply chain in order to make adjustment where necessary.
Determine development and production costs, and optimize designs to achieve the most cost-efficient means of production.
Conduct test runs with completed tools and mould.
Evaluate the final product based on manufacturing and project requirements or market needs.
Implement feedbacks and making revisions.
Assist to manage and lead ad hoc engineering projects, including customized tests and experiments.
Assist to oversee and lead research for findings on fields related to KMK's existing and potential product base, and proactively contribute to reference materials maintained by engineering team(s).
To co-operate with his employer or any other person in the discharge of any duty or requirement imposed on the employer or that other person.
Requirements
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, required for English and Bahasa. Strong engineering knowledge preferred, specifically with reference to material, manufacturing method, hydraulic, machineries and so on. Working knowledge in CAD software required. Able to work with minimal supervision and expend necessary efforts to complete duties. Qualifications in related fields preferred (e.g. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering). Fresh graduate is welcome to apply.
