Job Description

Salary: MYR 3,500 - MYR 6,000 Per Month

Location: Senai, Johor

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of working experience in mechanical design or manufacturing.

Experience in modular products or sheet metal design is an added advantage.

Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other 3D/2D CAD software.

Familiarity with UL standards (e.g., UL 2200, UL 2755) or FDA, and understanding of data center mechanical requirements is preferred.

Good communication skills in English and Mandarin; working knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Self-motivated, responsible, and adaptable; able to work in a fast-paced startup manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Participate in mechanical design, development, and continuous improvement of modular data center systems (structures, frames, panels, enclosures).

Ensure designs meet applicable standards (UL, FDA) and quality systems (ISO 9001); assist in product compliance and certification.

Work with factory teams to optimize automation equipment and processes (welding, painting, assembly).

Create and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, assembly instructions, and other technical documentation.

Provide on-site technical support during production or assembly; respond to issues promptly.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, project, QA) to ensure smooth project delivery.

Assist with sample preparation, test setup, and coordination for UL and regulatory testing.

Support general startup tasks, such as technical purchasing input and production readiness.
