Job Description

s:

Prepare and review mechanical engineering deliverables including piping layouts, isometrics, stress analysis, equipment datasheets, and material specifications. Ensure design compliance with project standards, industry codes (ASME, API, ASTM, etc.), and client specifications. Assist in the development of P&IDs, pipeline route layouts, tie-in details, and valve station designs. Review vendor documents and interface with procurement to ensure technical compliance of mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, valves, pressure vessels). Support mechanical installation, fabrication, and construction activities at site. Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure smooth project execution. Assist in mechanical system pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including punch list clearance, pressure testing, and equipment alignment. Participate in technical meetings, HAZOP reviews, and constructability reviews. Ensure quality control by reviewing engineering deliverables and inspection test plans (ITPs). Maintain up-to-date engineering documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Provide technical support during audits and client inspections.
Education Qualification:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Advance Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechanical / etc.) or equivalent. Having 2-3 years of experience in similar role, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, power or manufacturing industries. Familiar with international standards and codes such as ASME B31.3/B31.4/B31.8, API 5L, API 650, etc. Proficient in design and analysis tools such as AutoCAD, Caesar II, SolidWorks, or similar. Strong understanding of EPCC project phases and deliverables. Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills. Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills. Able to perform engineering tasks with minimum guidance. Skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
