Job brief We are looking to employ a maintenance supervisor with an outstanding knowledge in both static & rotating equipment maintenance, with a have fantastic organizational and time management skills. To ensure success, maintenance supervisors should display strong problem solving and decision-making skills with a solid understanding of safety, equipment maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, and managing staff. Responsibilities 1. Control and endorse work permit for the routine work and ensure the safety regulations, are understood and followed by the team members. 2. Ensure safety of all employees and contractors working in operating unit or department by driving continuous improvement towards a true safety culture 3. Be part of a multi-disciplined maintenance support team, reviewing existing maintenance procedures and determining I putting in place future recommendations 4. Monitor or inspect all worksites daily, ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently upheld in work practices, employee behaviours and housekeeping, eg by spending sufficient daily hours in the field. 5. Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work as per forecasted workloads. 6. Coordinate daily maintenance activities. 7. Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time. 8. Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure proper storage. 9. Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site. 10. Conduct preventative maintenance work. 11. Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work. 12. Conduct safety inspections as scheduled. 13. Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time. 14. Plan and schedule work assignments for the team 15. Act as the primary contact for the team 16. Ensure Mechanical Technicians follow predetermined checklist in performance of preventative maintenance of facility mechanical equipment and systems 17. Ensure that all relevant ISO documents are correctly recorded. 18. Strong leadership and motivational skills with the drive and focus to deliver results through teams 19. Provide training and implements standard work procedures to continually improve overall team productivity 20. Responsible for safe work practices 21. Be able to make decisions based on knowledge and experience Requirements and skills 1. Candidate must possess SKM level 3 or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 2. Minimum 5 years in mechanical maintenance field. 3. Proven experience as maintenance supervisor or similar role 4. Strong technical knowledge of all kind off static & rotating equipment systems. 5. Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations 6. Understanding of budgeting and performance management 7. Excellent planning and leadership abilities 8. Basic computer knowledge 9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
