Medical Event Coordinator based in Malaysia (12 Months Contract)Life Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.To provide administrative support to the MedEd Team in ASEAN region organize and co-ordinate Professional Education events which requires:Booking flights and accommodation (10-20 flights per month)Complete all documentation such as invitation letters, employee notification letter for all delegates. Complete the T&E form, BCD booking form for HCP flight booking.Complete all finance requirements such as ICC forms.Cvent/ENGAGE - submit the meeting request forms.Update the monthly activity spreadsheets and keep a record of all HCP training and spendSupporting the team with execution of eventsThe role will require interaction with MedEd Specialists, manager, and Commercial ASEAN team. Regular engagement with HCP\'s, local and international faculty, and key education leaders to include hospital administration departments.The role reports to the Medical Education Manager, the responsibility will be to deliver administrative support for all franchise MedEd events and activities and as such will require proactive communication with the Med Ed Clusters, ASEAN Regional sales and marketing team Professional Affairs team and travel agents. Develop relationship with key hotels and logistics service providers to facilitate accommodation and transportation of delegates as and when needed.What will you be doing?Provide relevant support and assistance for programs and events in ASEAN region across all portfolios which may include cadaver and sawbones workshops, symposiums & local 3rd party events and activities.Support the Coordination of VSP programs (Visiting Surgeon Program) including processing of all relevant documentation to medical boards & hospital authorities to gain access to the operating theatreCollaborate with MedEd Team and Commercial.Coordinate ASEAN surgeon attendance registers and certificates at events locally and internationallyProactively build & retain knowledge & expertise on S&N processes, systems , compliance policies and all MedEd administrative documentation requirements ensuring all are met in relation to each event and or activity.To always act in a responsible manner to avoid risk to self or to the company and comply with the S+N SOPs in place with regards workplace health, safety and security policy.Any other duties involved within the role and/or the tasks as assigned from time to time.What will you need to be successful?Success in the role will require a combination of technical knowledge, soft skills, and a deep understanding of both the business and service-providing sides of an organization. Successful candidates would need the following:Bachelor Degree with Business AdministrationMinimum 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in events meeting planning and coordination, preferably in the medical or related industry.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.You.
