Our main purpose is to strengthen the digital capabilities of Roche globally by supporting central initiatives with Social Media Management, Brand Support, Digital Publishing Services, Marketing Automation, Copywriting and Creative Design.Your Opportunity:As a member of the Global Digital Hub Team, you will work to ensure fulfillment of the Global Digital Hub long term outcomes and strategy as well as excellent delivery of content creation priorities. As a Medical Writer, you will support the growing medical writing team within Roche Services & Solution Centre in developing medical writing & digital content solutions for our business partners.
You are responsible for formulating and identifying current and future content needs and developing different content creation initiatives. In addition, you work with relevant stakeholders to ensure the effective deployment of resources and tools to support and ensure that writing activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with the business needs.The Medical Writer has responsibility for developing the content strategy of various business partners and you are a person who upholds the highest standards of scientific accuracy, quality and compliance with all applicable industry guidelines, local and international. In this position you will be focusing on:Writing and editing medical content for different formats / digital channels and platforms, including: information for patients, educational materials for HCPs (slides, posters, speaker briefs and presentations for conferences), newsletters, medical reports/study summaries, materials for use in public relations teamsResearching, writing and editing pre-clinical and/or clinical reports, summarizing data from pre-clinical and/or clinical studiesAssisting in the development of formats and guidelines for clinical documentation and may prepare scientific manuscripts, abstracts and posters while controlling quality and proofreading for scientific accuracyManaging multiple concurrent projects across a range of therapeutic areas, delivering on agreed timelines and ensuring that the content, format and structure comply with regulatory and other guidelines, as well as with Roche best practicesPartnering with the Creative Artworker to develop content and partnering with other internal teams, clients, business partners, healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders to understand their business needs and how content creation will contribute to their success.Who you are:You have a degree in Medical Sciences and 2-4 years experience in a similar role.You have a native-level written and spoken English, and additional languages (Spanish, Italian, German, French) are a big advantage.You have effective time management and excellent communication skills both written and verbal, so you can work effectively across our diverse resources and business stakeholders with a customer-service mentality.You have excellent attention to detail, consistency, clarity and scientific rigor, you are able to interpret data and you are accountable and focused.You have the ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment and the ability to prioritize tasks.Who we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
