  • To provide supportive Collection MIS for portfolio managed by Collections. This includes devise and analyse Collections related MI for all retail products and make recommendations based the MIS to support effective collections management.
  • Review MIS reports such as Portfolio Performance Reports, Net Flows, Key Productivity reports to measure success of units and implement robust collection strategies based on MIS.
  • Supporting various Analytical projects and deliverables in the domain of Collections and Underwriting Service
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Contribute to meet department financial KPI.
  • Responsible for NPL month end reconciliation and reporting. Ensure strict adherence to all credit policies, procedures, BNM guidelines, compliance, information security, etc.
  • Ensure timely submission of compliance and regulatory reports to BNM and submission of all NPL reporting in new classification, provisioning, write-off, write down, upgrading, payments, recoveries to Senior Management, EXCO, BNM, GRCA through Risk & FIN in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Provide and set up daily collector performance reports to all collectors and team leads to ensure productivity is tracked and monitored.
  • Provide monthly forecast on provision, write-off, recoveries, Net Credit Losses (NCL), flow rates and delinquency.
  • Provide analysis on monthly actual provision, recovery, flow rates, delinquency and collector\xe2\x80\x99s productivity.
  • Provide regular and periodic exception reports listing for Collection team.
  • Perform process review and automation for Collection team.
  • Perform validation and tracking of monthly collection operation (upgrade, downgrade, re-write, write-off, valuation, legal fees, etc) with impact to provisioning and GL.
  • Perform validation, review of submission of monthly expenses; accrual charges, claims and direct and indirect costs.
  • Assist in presenting analytical observation and influence decision-makers to propose policy recommendations.
  • Support Collections initiatives to control performance, delinquency rates and credit losses.
  • Preparation and compilation of monthly or ad hoc reporting (including presentation materials).
  • Ensuring policies guidelines and audit recommendations are adhered to.
  • Identify and manage information security risks that are specific to their line of business/ function as directed by BIRO.
  • Participate in the implementations of all relevant projects/initiatives as directed by the BIRO.
  • Take on ad hoc projects and/or special tasks assigned by Head of Department.
Requirements
  • Relevant Tertiary or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Preference with Collections Management experience.
  • At least 2 years of proven data analysis and/or IM experience, or equivalent.
  • Strong programming knowledge of SAS, SQL, Web based data visualization technologies and knowledge in data management, analysis and simulation.
  • Capability in handling portfolio risk management, scoring techniques and automated collection tools are highly technical.
  • Post Graduate degree in quantitative disciplines (Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, Management Science) would be an advantage.
