Create, update, and maintain comprehensive project schedules using
Microsoft Project
.
Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity lists, dependencies, and logic links.
Establish baseline schedules and ensure alignment with contract requirements and project methodology.
2. Project Coordination
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather data for schedule development and updates.
Participate in planning workshops and coordination meetings to ensure schedule feasibility and accuracy.
Facilitate communication of schedule impacts, changes, and milestones across the project team.
3. Progress Monitoring
Track progress against baseline schedules and regularly update actuals within Microsoft Project.
Identify variances, analyze causes of delays, and recommend corrective or mitigation actions.
Prepare weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly look-ahead schedules.
4. Reporting & Documentation
Generate schedule reports including Gantt charts, critical path analysis, resource usage, and milestone summaries.
Present schedule updates and analysis to project stakeholders and management.
Maintain clear documentation of schedule assumptions, revisions, and methodologies.
5. Risk & Change Management
Evaluate potential risks that may impact the project timeline and propose mitigation strategies.
Assess schedule impacts related to design changes, variations, and unforeseen site conditions.
Support time extension (EOT) claims by providing detailed delay and impact analysis using Microsoft Project.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:-
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in project planning/scheduling within the construction industry.
Strong proficiency in
Microsoft Project
(Standard, Professional, or Project Online).
Solid understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
PREFERRED SKILLS:-
Experience with BIM/4D planning is an advantage.
Familiarity with contract types (example: PWD Design & Build, PWD 103).
Knowledge of additional planning tools (Primavera P6, Power BI) is a plus.
Experience in large-scale projects/infrastructure/development

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
