Job Description

We are looking for a Service Build Engineer to provision, configure, and deliver enterprise-ready Linux-based middleware environments, including JBOSS, WebLogic, and messaging platforms like IBM MQ or Apache Kafka. The role demands strong system-level knowledge in RHEL, hands-on experience in middleware deployments, and a keen focus on automation, scalability, and service readiness.

This is a project-based build role -- ideal for professionals who enjoy infrastructure-as-code (IaC), middleware provisioning, and designing environments that integrate into CI/CD pipelines and support rapid release cycles.

This role is focused on environment setup, updates, installation, patches, and support

Responsibilities

Build, configure, and deliver RHEL-based servers with pre-installed middleware components (JBOSS, WebLogic, MQ/Kafka) based on customer requirements. Install and configure JBOSS EAP/WildFly, Oracle WebLogic, or Apache Tomcat according to enterprise standards. Install and configure IBM MQ or Apache Kafka clusters; manage brokers, queues, topics, and connection factories. Use shell scripting (Bash) or Ansible to automate environment provisioning and configuration tasks. Apply security hardening baselines, patching, and firewall configurations; ensure audit and compliance readiness.Prepare build runbooks, topology diagrams, and handover checklists for Operations teams. Work with infrastructure, application, security, and DevOps teams to ensure service integration and readiness. Support integration with Jenkins, Git, Ansible Tower, or other automation platforms for deployment and config management.
