Job Description
Responsibilities: * Oversee the mine construction process and manage the technical aspects of operation to ensure safe and efficient mine development or other surface operation.
- Plan, recommend, and coordinate mining process, type and capacity of operation equipment and machinery, and labor utilization to ensure smooth and efficient mine operation.
- Responsible to monitor and evaluate production or operation progress, labor requirement, machine and equipment utilization, operation cost, and prepares data statistic report for advance recovery.
- Responsible to apply knowledge of mining engineering to solve problems concerned with environment. Able to generate ideas for operation improvements in environment, safety and health aspects.
- Prepare and coordinate the employment of mining staff and equipment with regard to efficiency, safety and environmental conditions. Manage to communicate and liaise with managers and technical staff to maximize planning and production.
- Prepare estimates on the cost of the operation and control expenditure when mines come into production. Manage the data analysis and prepare mine operation progress report for continuous discussion and enhancements.
- Willing to travel.
- Computer literate and able to priorities workload.
