  • Our Information & Cyber Security (ICS) team sits within the Transformation, Technology & Operations (TTO) function and is responsible for all mission-critical and enterprise-wide areas of cybersecurity, including identity and access management, global threat intelligence, data protection, malware protection, and application and infrastructure security. These are challenges that impact our clients globally.

  • The successful candidate will be part of the CASE (Change, Control Adoption and Onboarding, & Stakeholder Engagement) cluster within the ICS (Information Cyber Security) Portfolio Enablement hive. As a Chapter Lead, you will drive the outcomes of colleagues involved in change communication and stakeholder engagement strategy and activities across our cross-functional squads to deliver on their objectives and key results. You will empower colleagues to optimise stakeholder relationships, aligning expectations and priorities and engendering best practice to achieve business goals. In return, we will support your development by providing professional training and development opportunities to enhance your skills. The role reports to the Head of CASE.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Lead the ICS CASE Demand Management function to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s Conduct Principles. Fair Outcomes for Clients, Effective Financial Markets, Financial Crime Compliance, The Right Environment.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key stakeholders
  • ICS Leadership Team, ICS CISOs, ICS Portfolio Delivery Team partners (Chief Scrum Masters, Chief Product Owners)
Other Responsibilities
  • Manage supply automation requirements per control - understand the applications which will be the consumer of the APIs you create
  • Define and prioritize requirements on Telemetry and Reporting capabilities to support their development.
  • Identify and engage stakeholders, define Responsible / Accountable / Consulted / Informed (RACI) matrix suitable for the demand.
  • Lead discussions with the stakeholders and project team to identify actions and steps required to achieve business goals and needs
  • Able to lead a team of application developers with strong track record for application development.
  • Define product requirements and development roadmap.
  • Coached and mentored team members with regular feedback sessions.
  • Provide automation in areas of opportunities for demand and supply management.
  • Manage the centralised aggregation of different data sources from all ICS controls.
  • Providing data to the Telemetry and Reporting team to support their reporting.
  • Work closely with the Central Devops team on possible collaborations and toolsets.
  • Managing delivery backlog in JIRA and establish traceability to business vision and objectives, act as primary SPOC for the Control automation product.
  • Ensure requirements are specified in a manner suitable for the intended audience \xe2\x80\x93 understandable and unambiguous.
  • Performing Security Impact Assessment, Operational Risk Assessment and Business Impact Assessment if required as part of the product lifecycle.
  • Planning, reviewing, and/or deliver training, process updates or communications.
  • Obtaining stakeholder buy-in and sign-off on delivery priorities.
  • Managing stakeholders from multiple business domains within the organization, including engineering team, middle management, and group executives.
  • Stakeholder management with CISOs, Control Owners, CIOs and Supply/Delivery teams
  • Adhering to change management standards & procedures, including documentation and capturing all artefacts required by WOW governance.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Product knowledge of Information & Cyber Security controls, covering Cyber Security, Identity Access Management, Threat Management and Perimeter Security
  • 10 and more years of experience; Experience in onboarding security controls to existing applications, e.g. IAM MFA
  • Able to work with control owners and application owners to formulate the control adoption strategy, socialize and agree with key stakeholders and execute the strategy
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to negotiate across large organization structures
  • Ability to stay calm and focused when under pressure to deliver a service.
  • Good team player, able to coordinate across multiple teams, and to prioritise the team\'s success ahead of personal success.
  • Willingness to both share existing skills and to learn new skills within a cross-functional team structure, developing T-shaped skills.
  • Able to constructively challenge when appropriate and lead change within the organization.- Reporting on milestones/successes and enabling feedback to facilitate engagement and buy-in.
  • Leadership through example and building the appropriate culture and values.
  • Experience in a global matrix organisation would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading teams to deliver objectives.
  • Previously coached and mentored team members with regular feedback sessions.
  • Excellent excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Product Owner or Scrum Master certification is beneficial but not essential. Ways of Working and Product Owner training and coaching will be provided to the successful candidate.
