- Software Skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Render assistance to walk-in customer who has problems with Apps, setups, loading applications, system hang-ups, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Understand the different fault causes among (a) environmental factor, (b) hardware factor (c) software and (d) operational \xe2\x80\xa2 Understand Malwares, intrusion, phishing, viruses. Usage of antivirus. - Communications & Networking \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist with the device setup controls on network connections: \xe2\x80\xa2 Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, wired access \xe2\x80\xa2 Internet access: DNS, IP addressing, URL, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Software updates - Customer Services \xe2\x80\xa2 Correspond with customers via email, phone, WhatsApp, etc. to follow up to on repairs for same-day collection cases. \xe2\x80\xa2 Visit e-learning website to do self-paced courses (If necessarily although training is provided.) - Diagnosis, Fault Finding & Solutions \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide first level screening and fault analysis. If the problem is hardware, recommend solutions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Diagnose, isolate the fault(s) and recommend the solution to the customer. 5. English Job Responsibility/ \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiar with smart phone application. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good communication skills to explain technical issues in layman\xe2\x80\x99s terms to customers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Fluent in English. Good conversation skills in other local languages (Chinese, Tamil or Malay) is an advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good organizational skills, manage paperwork well, comply with process workflow. \xe2\x80\xa2 Adaptable to working long and flexible hours, if required. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to comply with QCD procedures and follow duty roster if work days fall on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. \xe2\x80\xa2 Courteous and patient, particularly to older customers who have more issues with technical problems. \xe2\x80\xa2 High level of trust, discipline and integrity are required to steer clear of bribes or rendering favour in exchange for monetary gain. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good personal grooming with good time management.
