Why this role Our client is embarking upon an exciting growth phase and as such we are seeking Modernization Product and Offering Manager to join our Modernization team. Modernization improves the safety, reliability, and quality of existing elevators and escalators. The modernization offering needs to be localized to meet the local market and customer needs. The Modernization product manager is responsible for defining and deploying modernization solutions for different brands of elevators in the South East Asia market. Standardized and modular modernization solutions are key to drive optimal customer value during the elevator lifecycle. What will you be doing Working with Area and Global product teams and supply lines, define easy-to-sell, cost efficient, and localized modernization offerings and upgrade packages for elevators, that can be implemented in stages and match the customer needs. Prepare package specifications, instructions, and guidelines for: Existing elevator site survey Tendering and pricing Ordering Installation and commissioning Work with other functional teams to verify the quality, safety, and reliability of the localized offerings Train and coach local modernization sales, engineering, and installation teams for the new offering Provide technical support for installation and maintenance. Understand and collect information on the local elevator market and customer value drivers. Are you the one Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the elevator or elevator components industry Elevator product management and/or experience in developing modernization packages and offerings for various elevator brands in a sales, solutions engineering, or product manager role will be highly preferred. Understand elevator components and how they work together. Basic understanding of elevator installation, commissioning, and maintenance methods.
