Company Description BioNexus Gene Lab Corp. is an emerging molecular diagnostics company. The Company is focused on the application of functional genomics to enable early diagnosis and personalized health management. The Company\'s wholly owned subsidiaries include Bionexus Gene Lab Sdn. Bhd. (Bionexus Malaysia) and Chemrex Sdn. Bhd. (Chemrex). BioNexus Malaysia owns algorithm software, technology and know-how related to the detection of common diseases through blood analysis which it uses in its business. Its non-invasive blood screening tests analyze changes in ribonucleic acid (RNA) to detect the risk potentiality of approximately 11 different diseases. These diseases include cancers, bowel diseases and osteoarthritis. Chemrex is a wholesaler of industrial chemicals for the manufacture of industrial, medical, appliance, aero, automotive, mechanical and electronic industries in Asia Pacific region Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Molecular Technologist at Bionexus Gene Lab, located in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur. The Molecular Technologist will be responsible for performing laboratory testing and analysis, interpreting and reporting results, maintaining laboratory records, and following quality control procedures. The Molecular Technologist will also collaborate with other laboratory personnel to troubleshoot assays, ensure accurate results, and implement new methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Science, Molecular Biology or a related field Ability to perform, interpret, and troubleshoot molecular techniques such as PCR, qPCR, microarray sequencing, and fragment analysis Ability to perform venipuncture or phlebotomy Proficiency in laboratory software and data analysis tools such as LIMS and Microsoft Excel Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols, quality control procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Experience in molecular and genetic testing, clinical diagnostics, or research settings is a plus Programming and coding skills are very well appreciated.
