Key Activities:

Database Administration support with main focus MS-SQL databases on Google cloud or Azure cloud. Database Maintenance, housekeeping, troubleshooting. Incident, problem and change management of database-related incidents and problems, both in collaboration with other technical teams. Installation, configuration and lifecycle migrations/upgrades and patch management. SQL (PLSQL) database programming. Programming of batch runs and process scripts. Technical support for application developers (sequence reliability, standards, data flow). Implementation of changes and releases in the database area. Implement and maintain MS-SQL server disaster recovery and high availability solutions.

Qualifications:

2-10 years of experience in MS-SQL database administration. Expertise in Google and Azure Cloud platforms. Strong support for Cloud PaaS subscriptions and cloud operations. Proficient in database administration, backup and recovery, monitoring, and error resolution. Capable of problem analysis and vendor support requests. Skilled in database performance tuning, installation, configuration, patching, and high availability solutions. Additional skills include backup, cloning, data transfer, space management, user management, and performance report analysis. Well-versed in advanced batch scripting, SQL programming, database security, cloud key rotation, and network traffic encryption.
