The Sales Representative has three primary order creation (sales) responsibilities:
Proactively managing and selling to the customers assigned to him / her and ensuring that these customers receive a high level of service.
Actively resolving any order discrepancies in his / her area of responsibility.
Actively qualifying and responding to incoming customer inquiries assigned to him/her and escalating those that are appropriate to other team members.
Generally, a sales representative will handle the important group of customers in the C&D category and be continuously surveying these customers and opportunities for potential situations which justify further investigation and potential sales investment.
Build strong business relationships with customers across purchasing, engineering, quality, operations, and management to secure ongoing orders.
Review and update pricing, product specifications, quality requirements, and demand forecasts to ensure smooth product delivery.
Address and resolve order issues promptly, working with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing.
Assess incoming leads, prepare quotations and proposals, and assign inquiries to the most appropriate sales team member when necessary.
Follow an annual sales call plan, including proactive outreach to smaller customers to secure repeat orders and maintain supply continuity.
Complete annual demand forecasts and maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the company's contact database.
Visit customers to strengthen relationships, develop new business, and resolve service or business issues as required.
Keep work areas professional and ensure all files and records are well-organized for easy access.
Identify operational issues and suggest cost-saving, performance-enhancing solutions.
Skills and Qualification
Associates degree in business, communication or general studies. Advanced studies in sciences or engineering technology preferred. Bachelor preferred.
Wonderlic >25, Bennett Mechanical >75%, CPP: Supporter / Driver Customer oriented.
Prior experience in customer service or sales is preferred. Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to travel based on business needs and sales objectives.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple functions / tasks to meet required deadlines while maintaining the highest level of quality and accuracy.
Strong computer skills in Windows and Microsoft office based products.
Possess the ability to work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
