Our Finance department is a fundamental part of Doctor Anywhere and plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company's financial stability. We are responsible for advising management on financial decisions that have a far reaching impact on the company's future.

About the role

The Senior Finance Executive is responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. They play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing financial insights to support decision-making within the organization.

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows :

Financial Record-Keeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording transactions in accounting software and reconciling discrepancies between accounting records and other systems such as Clinic Management System and other payment gateway portals.

Financial Reporting:

Support monthly management reporting and prepare annual financial statements in compliance with the accounting standard.

Financial Analysis:

Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and overall financial improvement.

Tax Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations by addressing queries from tax consultants for annual tax filings and/or tax audits (if any).

Auditing:

Assist with external audits by providing supporting documentation and explanations for financial transactions.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls and risk management practices.

Software Proficiency

: Utilize accounting software and other financial tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency in financial management.

Communication:

Effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders, including management, investors, and regulatory authorities.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement in financial processes. Any other ad hoc duties assigned when appropriate.

About you

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Professional qualification certification preferred). Minimum of 3 years proven working experience in accounting or financial management roles, particularly with audit working experience with Big 4 Accounting Firms. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (IFRS/FRS). Proficiency in relevant accounting software, preferably in Oracle NetSuite and MS office applications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
